When you book the whole villa, nobody else stays. The pool, the lawn on the lake and the kitchen are for your group alone.

- Three king rooms and one queen room, all air-conditioned and all facing the lake
- Guests
- 8 included in the price, up to 10 with extra mattresses. Children under 5 stay free.
- Pool
- The infinity pool on the lakeside, 1.2 m deep, open 7 am to 9 pm
- Kitchen
- A full kitchen, so you can cook
- Breakfast
- A Kerala breakfast every morning, 8 to 10 am, included
- Lunch and dinner
- On request, at extra cost. Order lunch by 10 am and dinner by 4 pm.
- Wi-Fi and power
- Wi-Fi included, at around 100 Mbps, and power backup keeps everything running, AC included
- Parking
- Free, for 2 to 3 cars. A tempo traveller can reach the gate.
Made for get-togethers
The whole villa suits a family reunion or a long weekend, a few days by the water with friends, or a small team’s time away from the office.
Spend the afternoon in the pool, take a boat out to the Chinese fishing nets, and gather on the lawn as the light changes over the lake. With only four bedrooms, it stays quiet, and every guest gets our full attention.
Celebrating a birthday or an anniversary? Small celebrations are welcome if you tell us in advance.
Around the villa
Price and house rules
Choose your dates in the booking form to see the price for your stay straight away. Booking direct gets you our best price.
- Extra guests
- Up to 2 more than the 8 included, from ₹1,000 each a night (10 in total)
- Payment
- A 50% advance by UPI or bank transfer confirms your booking. You pay the rest at check-in.
- Deposit
- ₹5,000, refundable. We take it at check-in and return it at check-out after a quick check.
- Check-in and out
- Check-in from 1:00 pm, check-out by 11:00 am
- Music
- Music goes down after 10 pm, and DJ or loudspeaker setups aren’t allowed
- Alcohol
- You can bring your own and drink responsibly. We don’t sell or serve alcohol.
- Smoking
- All rooms are non-smoking. Guests can smoke at our outdoor smoking spot, but not inside or by the pool.
- Pets
- Not allowed

Getting here
Kayal is on the backwaters at Cherai, on Vypin Island near Kochi. Cochin International Airport is about 30 km away, roughly an hour by road.
We can arrange pickup and drop from the airport, at extra cost: send us your flight times when you book.
